There is this meme circulating on social media that reads : '' you think you know colors till Nigerians starts sending you wedding invites. From
Acid green to Fuchsia Purple to Ojuelegba blue’’. LOL. Apparently it is all in
the jokes. But One cannot ignore the actual fact that we often get confused
when a color code is written on a marriage invite. People are acquainted with
simply the essential colors. Red, blue, green etc.
Most of the people understand
white and black as colors. Ask a man of science and you may get a reply based
on physics: '' black is not a color, white may be a color.'' ask an artist or a
child with crayons and you'll get another: ''Black may be a color, White isn't
a color.'' (Maybe!)
To some people, pink is ‘‘Pink’’. It all gets difficult When one start mentioning pink shades like Fuchsia pink, powder pink, Hot Pink,
French rose, brink pink etc.

when sending invites that requires people to dress according to your wedding theme, Ensure to explain in brief the exact color shade . if possible , add a sample tiny piece of fabric of the said color to the invite(s) Else, expect to be surprised when your guest appears in Red when the invite clearly says ''dress code is burgundy'' . LOL
